Giorgio Andretta: Giordana has always been “for cyclists, by cyclists.” My journey started as a competitive rider in Italy, and I’ve spent my life obsessing over how to make cycling apparel better. We’re family owned and still make every piece in our own factory in the province of Vicenza, near where I was born. That’s rare today. Our team lives and breathes cycling—there’s a genuine passion here to be the best. We combine authentic heritage with unmatched expertise and a relentless drive to innovate. Whether we’re working with WorldTour teams or designing kits for everyday riders, our goal is always the same: to deliver apparel that works in harmony with the human body.

NX-G
The Performance Collection
NX-G represents the pinnacle of Giordana’s technology and design—where decades of innovation meet the future of cycling apparel. We call it “The Next Generation” because it’s where performance apparel is headed. The short-sleeve jersey features a cutting-edge lightweight microfiber that moves moisture faster, plus thermal welded hems for a clean, sleek finish.
But the real standout is the NX-G Bib Short. It uses a gradual compression fabric that’s custom-made exclusively for Giordana. It was originally developed for the medical field, but we saw the fabric’s potential for cycling. So we collaborated with aero engineers and top sports doctors to adapt it for optimal muscle support on the bike. Our first version was so advanced it didn’t comply with UCI regulations, as it was a 7/8-length tight designed to fully target major muscle groups. We refined the design, creating a bib short that maximizes muscle stabilization, improves endurance, and delivers compression that doesn’t give out after hours in the saddle. These bibs have been a staple for WorldTour pros for more than seven years.

FR-C Pro
The Race-Ready Collection
FR-C Pro is what WorldTour athletes trust, and now it’s even better. For 2025, we’ve refined the fit to be even more natural: race-ready yet remarkably comfortable. The jersey now features a new microfiber front and a carbon-infused back panel for added benefits, including preventing pocket sag. Plus, zipper treatments have been streamlined for a cleaner look, while thermal-welded waistbands offer elasticity and return.
The bib shorts and knickers have also been updated with revised Power spandex—lighter in weight but with exceptional tensile strength. This material delivers enhanced breathability, UPF 50+ protection, and outstanding durability for long days in the saddle. Our wind and rain jackets have evolved as well, now constructed with smarter patterns and a new superlight 53 gsm hydrophilic polyurethane membrane. Both jackets feature a two-layer stretch design that provides superior protection while maintaining flexibility.

The Go-To Collection
SilverLine is the workhorse of Giordana—trusted, versatile, and now completely redesigned. We took design cues from NX-G and FR-C Pro but created a more relaxed fit that accommodates a broader range of riders. The new lofted yarn fabrics are soft, manage moisture exceptionally well, and provide UPF protection. The bib shorts now feature the upgraded Cirro S chamois—a huge improvement in comfort for longer rides.
