England star Charlie Ewels returns in revamped Bath pack

Johann van Graan has selected a completely different pack to the one that started the 61-26 thrashing of Gloucester in last Sunday’s Challenge Cup quarter-final for this weekend’s trip to Exeter in Round 14 of the Gallagher Premiership
Lock Charlie Ewels has recovered from the blow to the ribs he suffered against Harlequins, which forced him to miss the last two rounds of European action, with the 29-year-old lining up in the second row alongside Ewan Richards.
Francois van Wyk, Niall Annett and Thomas du Toit make up the new front row, while Josh Bayliss and Miles Reid line up on the flanks, and Arthur Green gets his first Premiership start at the back of the pack.
The Ben Spencer-Finn Russell half-back axis remains intact but there is a change in midfield as Max Ojomoh, who limped off in the win over Gloucester but has been passed fit, replaces Will Butt as Cam Redpath’s partner.
Will Muir retains his place on the left wing, Ruaridh McConnochie lines up on the left, in place of Tom de Glanville, who reverts to full-back at the expense of Ciaran Donoghue.
Alfie Barbeary, the Player of the Match against Gloucester, has to settle for a place on the bench as Bath look to replicate their win over Exeter at Sandy Park in the final of the Premiership Rugby Cup.
